Quality Management System

Part of the twenty-first-century corporate gold standard, ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for quality management proficiency. Organizations who hold ISO 9001 are recognised in the UK and internationally for the exceptional quality of their management systems. This gives them a distinct advantage when seeking business partners, entering new markets and talking to potential large clients.

A Quality Management System is applicable to virtually any organization, of any size and nature, anywhere in the world. The most successful companies in every sector of today’s competitive global marketplace recognise the importance of quality management. Indeed, most holders of ISO 9001 are small to medium-sized organizations that are looking to grow and improve their operations or gain full recognition for the quality management they possess.

In short, we have systems in place to make sure that we do what we say, when and how we say we are going to do it. Accreditation by a globally recognised body ensures that we can back up our claims. We wouldn’t want it any other way!

Environmental Management System

Environmental regulations are getting stricter, and so is the law enforcement. Customers and shareholders increasingly demand that businesses diminish the environmental impact of their business, demonstrate what they do, and how they improve.

ISO 14001 Certification (Environmental Management System) helps your organization to be in control of and successfully manage the most significant environmental aspects, e.g., emissions, waste-handling, the utilisation of natural resources, and energy efficiency.

ISO 14001 standard provides guidance on how to consider multiple aspects of your business procurement, storage, distribution, product development, manufacturing, etc. so that it reduces its impact on the environment. It also drives you to evaluate how you manage emergency response, customer expectations, stakeholders and your relationships with your local community. Efficiency is important to make a difference in the world, and you contribute to this every time you work with ECS.

OHS Management System

The world’s first occupational health and safety international standard is currently being developed. It will help your organization provide a safe and healthy workplace for your workers and other people, prevent deaths, work-related injury and ill-health as well as continually improve OH&S performance. ISO 45001 is an International Standard that specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, with guidance for its use, to enable an organization to proactively improve its OH&S performance in preventing injury and ill-health.

ISO 45001 is intended to be applicable to any organization regardless of its size, type and nature. ISO 45001 enables an organization, through its OH&S management system, to integrate other aspects of health and safety, such as worker wellness/wellbeing; however, it should be noted that an organization can be required by applicable legal requirements to also address such issues.

Once ISO 45001 is released, Certification will last for three years and is subject to mandatory audits every year to ensure that you are compliant. At the end of the three years, you will be requested to complete a reassessment audit in order to become recertified to the standard.
